Here's the rundown of April:
* Eric rolled over back to front, after trying for weeks! He did it multiple times, too!
* We lost my Great-Great Uncle Frank, a truly amazing man with a rock-solid memory. We will miss him a lot.
* Eric met the Easter Bunny at the mall! He did such a good job, too! He didn't cry, or fuss. The Easter Bunny joked that he wanted to keep him!
* Eric had his well-baby and shots. I'm so glad he doesn't have to get shots all the time. He's such a trouper, though! He only cries while he's getting the shots and stops almost immediately. His cry face is so cute that the nurses just HATE to have to do it to him.
* Eric sat alone for the first time! Every time he does something big like this he seems so surprised with himself.
* Eric had his first Easter. We went to church, where Eric was the cutest baby present (as evidenced by the fact that all the old ladies couldn't keep their eyes off him or stop telling us how good he was), then we came home and I made a ham dinner with all the fixings. We had a really nice family day!
* Eric managed to propel himself forward...even though it wasn't an actual crawl. Usually, he tried to go forward and ended up going backwards, to his absolute frustration.
* Prince William and Kate Middleton got married...and yes, we got up to watch it...but Eric was waking us up, anyway. Oh, and Osama Bin Laden was killed by Navy Seals...so, I guess the U.S. has that going for it.
